Laundry Room: Declutter and Organization

Client Challenge: This laundry room doubled as an entryway, catch-all storage space, and part-time craft area. Overflowing mail, unused craft supplies, and general clutter rendered it dysfunctional for its intended purpose.

Our Approach: We began by collaborating with the client to establish a clear vision for the space. Through open communication, we identified problem areas and items, like the overflowing entryway and crafts. This led to the creation of a dedicated craft space in the basement, freeing up the laundry room. A huge number of items were donated and/or gifted to other people.

Decluttering and sorting: We worked with the client to donate and give away unnecessary items, significantly reducing clutter.

Streamlined organization: We utilized baskets to manage incoming mail and implemented a filing cabinet to organize documents and important items.

Functional space creation: By establishing designated zones and utilizing efficient storage solutions, the laundry room regained its intended purpose.
