What does a professional organizer do?

A professional organizer is a person who helps other people get organized. They can help with anything from decluttering a closet to downsizing a home. Professional organizers typically work with clients in one-on-one sessions. They will help the client assess their current situation and develop a plan for getting organized. The organizer may also provide the client with tools and resources to help them stay organized.

What happens during the consultation?

The consultation is a meeting between you and the organizer to discuss your organizing needs. During the consultation, we will ask you questions about your current situation, goals, and preferences. We will also tour your home, either in person or virtually, to better understand your needs.

Should I clean before my consultation?

Believe it or not, the answer is no. By observing the space in its everyday state, we can better understand what is working and what is not.

What cities/areas do you service?

We conduct in-person sessions for residents in central and northern Michigan. Virtual sessions are available to anyone.
